My Story

Hello my name is Angela Wilson, and last year my son John and his partner Iona surprised me with a combined birthday and Christmas present. Which turned out to a big surprise and a bigger shock ...they had bought me a TANDEM SKY DIVE!!!

Now let me be clear I have NEVER EVER mentioned that I am remotely interested in jumping out of a plane and free falling....what is that? from 12000 feet whilst screaming my lungs out and praying for my sins to be forgiven as I fall to the earth, as the earth also hurtles up towards ME!

What where they thinking... maybe they thought it might be character building, or maybe even FUN FOR ME!

Utter madness I say with a slight smile. So if I am going to do this insane JUMP I am going to raise some money from this madness!

The Nottinghamshire Hospice is my chosen registered charity as they provide care for people who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. Their aim being to ADD LIFE TO DAYS. By supporting, encouraging and facilitating individuals who have been told that, their illness cannot be cured, to live as actively as possible with dignity, choice and respect. Until the end of their lives, however long that maybe.

My Tandem Sky Dive Event was held 1st Sept 2020 at Langar Airfield and raised £1,213. A huge thank you to all who encouraged, supported, gifted and sponsored me. It was an amazing experience.

From out of such a positive experience I have made a  decision to continue to raise funds, by holding Car Boot Sales.

Please support me so we can all help the Nottinghamshire Hospice continue to provide such amazing care to people with life-limiting illness and there loved ones today and into tomorrow.
